RM The Risk Manager is the name of my private consultancy specialising in safety and risk management consulting and auditing for industry.
|3. What are the most challenging aspects of developing and maintaining a safe work cultutre in your organisation?||
As a sole trader my focus is on managing my workload and maintaining my skills so I can deliver on client needs.

Helping my clients achieve safety and performance excellence. Setting the highest standards of ethical behaviour and quality of advice.
|4. What aspects of your role do you find challenging?||
Staying ahead of the changing environment of legislation, client and regulator expectations.
|5. Describe any new or interesting WHS initiatives/programs that your organisation has recently completed, are currently working on or planning to develop/implement in the near future?||
Now consulting to clients to achieve triple certification including new quality and environment standards, and second party civil construction audits.
|6. What do you see as business opportunities in having a strong work health and safety profile (eg staff retention and recruitment, preferred supplies, tenders etc)?||
Reputation is everything. If I do a good job, I'll win repeat business. If I don't, I'm out of business.
|7. What key advice would you give organisations in your industry who wish to position themselves as a safe and sustainable business?||
Leaders, you need to understand your OHS obligations, and lead by example. Set the standard you expect to be kept.
