Overview

Organisations are exposed to a broad range of risks on a daily basis, including financial, ethical, legal, social and physical risks. The management of organisational risk is essential to the overall success of business and integral to decision making processes.  The development of risk management strategies will enable your organisation to achieve best practice in the area of risk, including but not limited to Work Health & Safety management.

3 hours.

Learning outcomes

Topics covered;

  • Defining risk and risk management principles and framework;
  • Establishing risk within the WHS Legislative context;
  • An overview of Risk Management Planning documents and their implementation; and
  • A review of specific risk management tools e.g. risk registers, risk policy and procedure.

Who should attend

This workshop is designed for Officers, Senior Managers and Managers within a PCBU who have knowledge of their organisations overall risks and are involved in the planning and reviewing of risk management within the organisation.
