2018 Webinar - 3 Simple Safety Conversations Every Worker Should Have

3 Simple Safety Conversations Every Worker Should Have

Join Stephen Ween, President Australasian University Safety Association Inc (AUSA), to gain an understanding of the impact of simple safety conversations.

Topics will include:

  • Identifying workplace hazards – How often do you walk past a hazard or nearly injure yourself and think “someone should fix that”? We will discuss how easy it is to report these hazards so that someone can fix them.
  • Sharing ideas to make the workplace safer – We will discuss how workers’ safety improvement ideas have the power to save lives. We will also discuss why it is more important that safety suggestions come from workers rather than safety professionals.
  • Sharing safety success stories – The importance of sharing safety wins is often understated and underrated. We will discuss why safety story telling is so powerful for an entire organisation and even industries.
