ISO 45001 and the Law
Many organisations don’t understand the role Australian Standards play when it comes to managing WHS; or the ramifications of not following them. The NSCA Foundation is proud to present a webinar by SAI Global Assurance and Sparke Helmore Lawyers – “ISO 45001 and the Law”.
Please join experts Carlie Holt, Partner at Sparke Helmore Lawyers, and Rod Beath, Senior Education Professional and Safety Practitioner from SAI Global, as they guide you through what you should know and why, using live examples to highlight how standards and WHS law in Australia intersect. This seminar will help you understand:
- what role standards play;
- what do you need to know; and
- what happens if you breach a standard.
Topics covered include:
- an overview and exploration of the differences between ASZ/NZ 4801 and ISO 45001; and
- identification of the key clauses in 45001 that potentially integrate with the law.
Remember, have standards because ignorance is no excuse to the law!
